Evaluation version
1. The Lightwave Memory Manager (LMM) comes in two versions: an "evaluation" version and a "full" version. Free copying of the evaluation version is permitted, even encouraged, provided that after an evaluation period not exceeding 30 days, you either discontinue its use, or license a full version.
2. LMM may be used free of charge in non-commercial software. You may not ship commercial software, or run commercial services, using the evaluation version of LMM.
3. There are no guarantees of the safety or suitability of LMM for your application. Although every effort has been made to ensure the quality and performance of the product, Lightwave, nor any individuals, accept no liability for faults or lack of suitability of the product.
4. The evaluation version may be time-locked, and may stop working after a period of time.
5. LMM is copyrighted. Permission is granted to copy the library only if these Terms and Conditions are met. No permission is granted to copy of divulge the source code.
Licensed version
An organization license entitles you to ship software using Lightwave Memory Manager royalty-free for an unlimited period. The license does not entitle you to redistribute LMM in stand-alone form, or as part of a library.
A developer license also entitles you to use LMM on your development computers beyond the evaluation period. An organization license includes one developer license.
Licenses are not transferable outside of an organization, and do not automatically entitle you to upgrades. Lightwave reserves the right to refuse any application for a license.
No claims are made about the suitability or safety of this product for your application. No liability is accepted, either by Lightwave Software, or any individual, for defects or deficiencies in the software. This is what the evaluation version is for. Use at your own risk.
